Location-based mobile casino filtering system to be deployed
Mobile gambling services developer Zero36 has secured a contract with Genasys to jointly operate a location-based mobile casino filtering system in Spain.
The partnership sees Genasys, an experienced provider of location-based services, supplying Zero36 with the real-time location of players using the Zero36 portfolio of 30 mobile casino applications to ensure that Spanish regional legislation is adhered to.
Zero36’s patented location-based filtering system identifies the geographical location of a user and restricts its mobile services to those that are legal in a particular locality.
Zero36 CEO Sharon Tal said: "The partnership with Genasys will enable Zero36 to receive location data from all Spanish mobile carriers, eliminating the need to run a separate integration process with each carrier. This system will also support different taxation regimes relevant to the area where the user is located. This is necessary because gambling taxation rates vary throughout Spain." added Tal.
The mobile gaming firm is currently the sole offshore provider of mobile casinos for the Spanish market. |
